Holistic Grief Counseling
First, I have to say that I am NOT a certified or licensed Grief Counselor. But I can help in your grieving process; and that is what healing is… a process.
Traditional counseling for a loss of a loved one entails talk therapy, which is very helpful. You vent out your feelings of loss, anger, pain, frustration, etc. But you may not feel any closure. You may get tired of and even angry with people who say things like “Time heals all wounds” or “You’ll feel better after a while… we all go through it; we all lose people we love”. But sometimes, nothing seems to help the feeling of loss; the feeling in the pit of your stomach, like a part of you is missing. Having someone who is trained in counseling those who have suffered the loss of a loved one can be invaluable. Or you may decide to deal with loss with no therapy. You simply try to “deal”; but sometimes, the dealing does nothing except reinforce and amplify the loss.
How my process differs from other methods of grief counseling.
First, you must be open to the idea that the soul goes on. You don’t have to be a big believer in psychic/mediums like John Edward, you just need to be open to the possibility that your loved ones spirit may still be intact, just not visible to you at this time. You just need to be open. If you are totally cynical of the process, if you feel that the work psychic/mediums do is all garbage, designed by unscrupulous and immoral people to steal money from the weak minded, gullible people, who do believe, this process is definitely not for you (but if you felt that way I don’t think you would be reading this now). So, if you believe in spiritual communication and that your loved ones can (and do) communicate with us, I have a process where you become your own medium.
I designed this process to work with the “Connecting with Loved Ones in Spirit” workshop and/or the “Connecting with Spirit Psychic Circle”. If after the workshop or the circle, you are still in need of more contact with a loved one, or if the one you wanted to come through didn’t, here is another option.
During the holistic grief counseling session, you will experience (similar to the workshop) going to a spiritual sanctuary, designed by you, prior to hypnosis. You will, during a hypnosis session see a faint light coming towards you, which will manifest itself as the person you want to see. You will then have an opportunity to sit, hold and speak with your loved one, asking them any question you want. When the time is right for you, you will simply nod your head, indicating that it is time to “return”. You will return to the room knowing that your loved one is as close as a thought.
Afterwards you may want to discuss the experience in the office or at home with family.
